Corona-virus Information for Customers & Staff.
The following information is important to anyone working at or visiting Focalpoint Optics.
No member of staff should attend work if showing any symptoms of COVID-19!
All staff should ensure the workplace is kept clean, tidy, and that all PPE including hand sanitizer is available and freely accessible.
All members of staff should follow government guidelines in relation to Social Distancing and goods handling as published on the.GOV website.
Members of the Public.
No member of the Public should visit Focalpoint if showing any symptoms of COVID-19!
Please DO NOT arrive at the Focalpoint Showroom without an appointment!
Arriving without an appointment may result in you not being able to enter the showroom due to Social Distancing protocols in force at the present time, 15th June 2020 onward.

By booking an appointment you are assured of a safe environment so that you can discuss, Try, Test, and select your equipment.

Alternatively, you can download our App and book an appointment via the Focalpoint App or via the Chatbox on our website.
Please follow the instructions on any signage relating to COVID-19 or Social Distancing displayed at the Focalpoint Showroom, or any instructions issued by a member of Focalpoint Staff.
Also please follow any instructions given by staff for safe handling of equipment and use the PPE provided, this is for your & our safety.
If you have a smartphone please download our App so you can make a contactless payment if required.
Credit and Debit Cards can be used if required however, App payment is preferred to reduce risk.
NO CASH! Until further notice, we will be operating a NO CASH Policy.
Please dispose of any PPE supplied in the bins provided.
Please do not bring pets or food on the premises.
Children are welcome but must be fully supervised.
please ensure you arrive on time for your appointment and please try to conclude your business in the time allotted. This is so that staff have time to clean surfaces and equipment for the next appointment.
In addition to social distancing, we have implemented an airflow system in the showroom for added protection from aerosol dispersion.
Please indicate prior to arrival (at the time of booking) what equipment you wish to test, this will allow staff to prepare for your visit.
Gloves and a face masks are available. (This is discretionary at the moment but under constant review)
Please do not bring your own gloves and masks to avoid cross-contamination!
You will be able to try and test equipment in the showroom, outside, at the bird feeding station viewpoint, or at the lake viewing area (weather permitting).
We have no restrictions on testing equipment and you can test as many models as you like, gloves and a mask for testing will be provided if requested.
Please ensure you have allowed enough time for testing when you book your appointment.
Equipment & Showroom Cleaning.
All tested equipment will be sanitized prior to being returned to the demo stock.
After sanitization, all equipment will be left to self-heal for a period of time.
Showroom touchpoints will be sanitized daily and after each visitor.
The Showroom will be deep cleaned weekly.
We will not be accepting cash for the time being. Credit/Debit card payments, contactless payments, Click & Collect, and our Secure Smartphone Payments (via Stripe) are the only options available until it is safe to accept cash payments once more.
Trades People. (Reps etc.)
No Logistics or tradespeople should visit Focalpoint if showing any symptoms of COVID-19!
Please follow onsite guidance or instructions from staff when attending the showroom or making deliveries.
NB: Sales representatives from our suppliers should call ahead for an appointment or book an appointment online!
With the exception of delivery drivers making deliveries or collecting, Please make an appointment as above.
