Ways to Capture the Cosmos
Whether you're a master imager or just starting out, there are multiple ways to photograph celestial objects with your Astro Telescope. Option 1: NexYZ 3-Axis Universal Smartphone Adapter This handy adapter makes anyone an instant astroimager! Simply connect your smartphone to your eyepiece, adjust the three directional knobs, and you’re ready to capture images and video for instant sharing. The NexYZ works with a wide range of mobile phone models, including all the latest devices from Samsung, Google, and Apple. In addition, the NexYZ fits any eyepiece from 35 mm to 60 mm in diameter, including telescopes with 1.25” and 2” eyepieces. The NexYZ can be used with all Celestron telescopes and their included eyepieces. If you purchase additional Celestron eyepieces, NexYZ fits the following units:

To take images of deep sky objects with your phone and the NexYZ, Celestron recommends looking into apps that let you take long exposures and stack your images, like Slow Shutter Cam. Option 2: DSLR T-Mount Setup Already own a DSLR? Attaching your DSLR is surprisingly easy with just a few budget-friendly accessories. You will need a T-Ring for your specific camera brand and a T-Adapter to fit your optical tube. See all T-Mount options here. Option 3: CMOS Solar System Imagers Capture high-resolution planetary, lunar and solar images with one of the high-quality, affordable, and user-friendly planetary imagers.
